One Step Further was created by Beverley Hamilton to meet the needs of small business owners who are at heart entrepreneurs. They want to make a difference in the world by delivering value through great products and services but also by being inspirational leaders.

One Step Further is all about leadership and driven by;

Too many small business owners get themselves trapped on the hamster wheel of the status quo. This often leaves them feeling overwhelmed, stressed out and disillusioned. What they really want to be doing is leading a successful business that makes a real difference and generates a great profit so that they can live their life on their terms.

One Step Further is here to inspire and serve small business owners by helping them step up to be authentic leaders as well as challenging them to drive the business they really want so that they achieve the business, financial and lifestyle success they dream of and deserve.

We do that through speaking, mentoring and workshops offering online and offline services and products.

What are the Origins of One Step Further?

One Step Further had its genesis in June 2003. We started life as a consultancy and coaching practice serving corporate, public sector and individual clients and focused on 4 key areas

• Performance Improvement
• Leadership Development
• Team Effectiveness
• Executive Onboarding

Between 2003 and June 2011 some of our clients included;
Cisco, Barclays, Barclaycard, Johnson Diversey, Eurostar, Atmel , Tate and Lyle – Private sector
Surrey County Council, Eastbourne Borough Council, Surrey Women’s Aid - Public and Third sector
Caring Daycare, Human Choice, PASS, Creative Leadership and Creating Synergy - SMEs

In addition, we worked with many solo professionals and solopreneurs.

In July 2011, Founder and Chief Creative Officer Bev Hamilton decided that she wished to serve a different community of people and so One Step Further was rebranded.

The Reinvention and Evolution of One Step Further

For 6 years Bev had success, lean times and some failures and then in 2009 she had an experience that would change her life. Through a personal development programme, she woke up to who she really is, what she REALLY wants in life and why she had been ignoring her dreams, hopes and wants for so long. She was getting in her own way. Her belief system and some blind spots were a barrier to the personal and professional success she wanted without even realising it.

That was the start of a reinvention?

After much thought, many hours writing ideas and options in coffee shops and lots of reflection, she decided she wanted to be a speaker, mentor and facilitator and focus on her passion - leadership.

A Focus on Entrepreneurial Leadership

So now she is creating The Entrepreneurial Leadership System™: How to Build a Business with Passion, Purpose and Principles to Achieve the Business, Financial and Lifestyle Success You Dream of and Deserve. The foundation of which is the Leadership Trinity™ - Self Leadership, Leadership for Others and Profitable Thought Leadership

There are many organisations focused on helping people to set up a business, business development and leadership. There are many companies who serve the SME market and how to build and grow a business. There is a gap in support for and dedicated to the world of the small business owner and entrepreneur from a leadership perspective and we think the time is right to change that.

One Step Further will continue to evolve and is now looking for people with passion, determination and commitment who can bring their talents and play their part in making this happen.
